The MAIN rule of this room as in the other Fantasy Castle rooms is to show respect for One Another.

However there are some basic protocols We please ask ALL to follow:

2. Many people who come here are new to BDSM. If you are new, We welcome you. Feel free to just observe and to ask any questions of the P/people in the room. But please do not be rude or attempt to pass judgement on the inhabitants because they prefer a different lifestyle. It is not a reqirement that you participate, merely be tolerant and open-minded.

3. Please treat our submissives with the utmost respect. This chatroom is based on consensual activities and there is just as much respect held for subs as there is for Doms. You may hear the term "slut." This is allowed between Doms and Their collared subs only.
   

4. There are basically three types of inhabitants in the room - Dom(inant)s , sub(missive)s, and Neutrals aka V/vanillas. Dom(Me)s name's will usually begin with Uppercase letters, while submissive's names will usually begin begin with lowercase letters. In all cases, use a name, nothing sexual or indicating a minor or drugs might be involved. Those who are not active in the Dom/sub lifestyle, usually called "Vanilla's" or "Neutrals", will appear in both upper and lower case. If you are not sure just ask. ~S~

5. Be advised, it's not a place for ghosts, vampires, or character roleplay; nor fantasy play characters such as dragons or wolf pups. Both the Bastille and the Dungeon are chatrooms located on normal earth circa 21th Century. Please follow the room guidelines.

6. Do not send private messages to anyone, without asking them publicly for permission first. Many Dom(Me)s will consider this to show a lack of respect for Them, and many submissives have been instructed not to speak in private to others without their Master's/Mistress's permission.

7. Do not speak or send private messages to people involved in a public scene. In fact, you will notice that most of the people in the room grow quieter, while a public scene is taking place.
